Queensland's Smoking In Cars With Children Laws

To the Honorable Queensland Health Minister, Paul Lucas.

In relation to the Queensland Health And Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2009, w e the undersigned believe that the on the spot $200 fine for smoking in the car with children present is minimal. We believe that Queensland’s fines should match Tasmania’s $2000 fine as it would be a far more effective deterrent because we the undersigned, feel strongly that these irresponsible persons should be severely penalised for endangering the lives of innocent children.
